Character
Blog Requirements
The goal of your log/blog is to express the
thoughts, feelings and history of your character in a variety of ways. As you
design your log/blog, you should always consider whether you are representing
your character accurately, based on the text’s given circumstances. It is fine
to add details to your character’s life as long as they are appropriate to the context
and in keeping with what the playwright has given you.
Everyone’s blog must have the following:
· At least four diary entries written from the
perspective of your character.
· Each diary entry must have a related image
within it.
· Social, Cultural, Political and Historical
research into the play and any rehearsal notes or exercise write-ups.
· Meaningful quotations related to your
character and how they have helped you understand the character/play (e.g. 9
questions, relationships, targets)
· A photo or drawing of your character (as you
imagine him or her) with a brief description of them (role in life,
relationships, goals, location, etc.)
· A photo of you in your costume / mood board
using magazine clippings for your character and the world of the play.
· A link to a video or an embedded video / mind
maps of your characters wants.
· Music
choices for your character with explanations.
